Clean totes arrive stacked on your porch, with any hand truck or dolly you add. You sign online and your card stays on file.

Pack, move, we pick up

When you are unpacked, leave the empty totes by the door and we grab them on your pickup day.

Delivery and pickup, both trips

Monday to Wednesday 6 to 10 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8 am to noon or noon to 4 pm. Need it in under 48 hours? Add a $25 rush. One fee covers both delivery and scheduled pickup, and your exact fee is calculated from your address before checkout. Picking up at a different address is fine; the farther one sets the fee.

Tote rental FAQ

How long can I keep the totes?+
Two full weeks are included. Add weeks at checkout or extend later from your rental page, as long as the totes are free. Need just one week? Short move prices are on the booking page.
How many totes do I need?+
Starter (20) covers studios, dorms and most 1 bedroom moves. Home (30) is where most 2 bedroom apartments start. Full House (40) is for bigger homes and families. Not sure? Text us, and you can add totes later if we have them.
How do I pay? Is there a deposit?+
No cash deposit. You pay the full rental price online when you book. We save your card in case totes go missing or the rental runs late, and we text you a photo before any charge.
What if something goes missing or breaks?+
Normal wear and tear is expected and is not charged. Totes damaged beyond use are subject to a $10 replacement fee per tote. Normal cleaning is included; totes returned excessively dirty and requiring additional cleaning are subject to a $10 cleaning fee per tote. A missing tote is $20 and a missing lid $6.
What happens if I'm running late?+
If your totes aren't ready for pickup by your scheduled deadline, your rental will be extended and billed at the applicable additional-week rate ($25 Starter, $30 Home, $35 Full House). There is no grace period. Need more time? Extend from your rental page before pickup day.
Can I have my totes picked up early?+
Yes! Contact us to request an earlier pickup. If we can accommodate it during our normal schedule, there's no additional charge. Expedited pickup requiring a special trip is $25, subject to availability.
What if I need to cancel or change my delivery date?+
Changes and cancellations are free with at least 48 hours' notice before your scheduled delivery. Requests made with less than 48 hours' notice are subject to a $25 fee. After delivery, extra time is billed as a weekly extension.
How much does delivery cost?+
Local delivery and scheduled pickup are $10. Extended-area delivery and scheduled pickup are $35, anywhere else in Metro Detroit (Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties), and $60 for addresses 45 minutes or more of driving from Lincoln Park. Your exact fee is calculated from your delivery address before checkout.
How do I receive the junk removal discount?+
Rent moving totes from Sanchez Junk & Haul Co. and receive $25 off a qualifying junk removal job of $250 or more, booked during your rental or within 7 days after pickup. No coupon code is needed. We'll verify your eligibility using your rental.
Do I need to be home?+
No. Tell us where to leave the stack and we text you when it is delivered and when it is picked up. If no one is home and there is no safe spot, the first retry is free.
What can I not put in a tote?+
Gas, propane, paint, oil, chemicals, batteries, liquids, food waste or anything alive. Keep each tote under 75 lb and stack no more than 4 high.
What about the junk I do not want to move?+
We are a junk removal company first. Scan the sticker on any tote or text us, and we can haul the leftovers the same day we pick up your totes. Tote renters get $25 off jobs of $250 or more.
